Transform Your Nose without Surgery: The Magic of Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Using Dermal Fillers

, often referred to as a “liquid nose job,” has emerged as a revolutionary approach to nose reshaping, offering a painless and quick alternative to traditional surgical rhinoplasty. Utilizing dermal fillers, this procedure can alter the shape of your nose with minimal downtime and Emsculpt Neo immediate . In this blog post, we’ll explore what non-surgical entails, its benefits, and what you can expect from the treatment.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure that uses injectable fillers, typically made of hyaluronic acid, to change the shape of your nose. It’s a versatile treatment that can address a variety of nasal concerns without the need for invasive surgery

Common issues that can be treated include smoothing out bumps, altering the nasal tip, and improving nasal symmetry.

During a non-surgical rhinoplasty, a skilled injects dermal fillers into precise locations on the nose. The fillers can add volume, change the shape of the nasal contours, and even lift the angle of the nasal tip.

The procedure is usually completed in less than an hour, and the results are visible almost immediately.

Minimal Downtime: One of the most appealing aspects of non-surgical is the lack of downtime. Most patients can return to their daily activities immediately after the procedure.

and Adjustable: Because most fillers used are temporary, the are not permanent. This means adjustments can be made as desired, and the procedure can be reversed if you are not satisfied with the outcome

No General Anesthesia: This procedure does not require general anesthesia, which is often necessary for surgical rhinoplasty. It’s typically under local anesthesia, making it safer for those who are concerned about the risks associated with general anesthesia

Immediate Results: Unlike surgical rhinoplasty that may require months for the swelling to subside and the new shape to stabilize, the results of non-surgical rhinoplasty are immediate

Cost-Effective: Non-surgical rhinoplasty is less expensive than a surgical nose job, making it a more accessible option for many.

Ideal candidates for non-surgical rhinoplasty are looking to improve the appearance of their nose without significant structural changes. It’s perfect for those who want to:

Smooth a dorsal hump (small bump on the nose)

Refine the nasal tip

Improve symmetry

Make minor corrections following surgical rhinoplasty

During your consultation, the practitioner will assess your nasal structure and your goals. During the procedure, they will apply a topical numbing cream to your nose to minimize discomfort. The filler is then injected into the targeted areas to reshape the nose. The process is relatively quick, taking about 15 to 30 minutes

After the procedure, you may experience mild swelling or bruising, which typically resolves within a few days. It’s important to avoid wearing glasses or sunglasses directly on the bridge of the nose for a couple of weeks to prevent altering the results

It’s an excellent option for those who want to make subtle enhancements to their nasal appearance the permanence and risks associated with surgery. If you’re considering the shape of your nose, consult with a reputable practitioner to see if non-surgical is right for you.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Acne is caused when the hair follicles in your skin become inflamed or blocked with bacteria, oil or dead skin. Each pore on your skin leads to a hair follicle and sebaceous (oil) gland. These oil glands release sebum (oil) which travels up the hair, through the pore and onto the surface of your skin. If the sebaceous gland over-produces oil or there is excess production of skin cells, this can cause a build-up in the follicle, blocking pores, attributing to bacteria growth and acne formation. Poor hygiene actually doesn’t cause acne, however, cleansing your skin daily and weekly can help pores from becoming blocked.

There are several different types of acne, which are acne cosmetic, acne mechanica, acne conglobta, excoriated acne, acne rosacea and steroid acne. The lesions can present themselves in the form of closed comedones (or whiteheads), open comedones (blackheads), pustules, papules, nodules and cysts.

Puberty and hormonal changes are the most common factors. Stress can also aggravate acne, as well as a poor diet, the skincare products you are using, or it could simply be down to genetics. Women are much more likely to suffer from acne due to hormones – this includes pregnancy, during your period, or if you suffer from Polycystic Syndrome (PCOS).

There is no definite cure for acne. Our aim is to improve and control your symptoms as best we can. Acne can sometimes take a long time to clear, so we’ll work with you and your symptoms continually to find the best course of treatment, but we do see some clients who see amazing results in just a few weeks.

Your doctor or nurse will assess your skin during your initial consultation to recommend the right course of treatment. This could include a series of treatments such as , , . Sometimes, acne treatment could also include or hormonal therapies (the combined oral pill for women can often be effective to treat severe acne) before you progress onto treatments in a clinic. It’s important to remember that the acne experts at sk:n will prescribe a course of treatment that works for you, your skin and the acne type you are suffering with.

This will appear as a large number of papules and pustules on your face and possibly your chest and/or Microneedling back. The nodules and cysts will likely be painful and you could be at risk of scarring, therefore it is essential that you seek medical advice. Read more about .

During teenage years, it can often go away on its own. Adult acne is much less likely to clear, but this will always vary person to person and you should always be aware of the risk of scarring. So if you are concerned, always seek medical advice.

Acne is not caused by diet, but it can influence it. Diet can play a key factor in helping to prevent acne, by avoiding acne triggers or aggravators such as dairy and sugar, and adding highly nutritious and vitamin-packed food to increase the skin’s capacity to fight infection and heal itself. Some skin-friendly food choices include: whole grains, legumes, unprocessed fruits like apricots, blueberries, tomatoes and red grapes, and unprocessed vegetables such as carrots, avocado, sweet potato, beetroot, spinach and other dark green and leafy vegetables. Food containing zinc, vitamins A and E and antioxidants, such as quinoa, turkey, fish, oat milk and pumpkin seeds can also help the skin to fight acne.

Acne may not be preventable in many cases, but you should aim to look after your skin as best you can. Reviewing your skincare regimen at home, and finding the right products for your skin type can help to remove surface grim and dead skin cells which can aggravate . Hydration can also play a key role in preventing acne, as dehydration can generate extra oils on your skin, ultimately, clogging your pores and creating new spots.

As the experts in skin, we want to make sure that not only does your treatment plan give you the best results, but you can carry on caring for your skin at home after treatment with a tailored skincare plan.

Your new skincare programme will ensure you see the best possible results from your professional treatments in clinic.

Everyone’s skin is different and will require different products, especially if you have acne, but you can apply some simple general rules to choosing your skincare every day, all year round. Always include a hydrating product like hyaluronic acid or B5, an antioxidant like vitamin C to protect against free radicals, a vitamin A (i.e. retinol or retinoids) which is anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing, and a daily SPF for protection against UVA, UVB and HEV (or blue light).

Acne scars can be stubborn and seemingly permanent, but there are proven effective that diminish the appearance of acne scarring. The best treatment for your skin will depend on the type of acne scarring you have. Before you have treatment, a , nurse or acne practitioner should assess your acne scars and select the most appropriate treatment for you.

There are various types of acne scars; some may be red, purple or pinkish in colour due to a build-up of melanin in the skin. If the area is red and is still inflamed and swollen, the acne is likely to still be active, so we would need to treat that before treating scarring. A dermatologist will be able to advise you about effective treatments for active acne, which may help to minimise the risk of acne scarring.

Usually, the reddish or brownish acne marks that are left behind after pimples clear up will fade with no need for treatment. However, severe acne can leave you with scarring that does not always fade, and picking or acne can also increase the risk of scarring.

Some scarring may heal and eventually go, depending on the severity. There are three types of scarring: ice pick scars (small deep holes), rolling scars (uneven skin) and boxcar scars (craters in the skin). There are several types of acne scarring treatment at sk:n that we recommend, to stimulate the skin’s natural healing process and encourage cell regeneration and collagen production; your doctor may recommend , which, on the severity or location of your scarring can be delivered by a senior practitioner, nurse or doctor. We also sometimes recommend laser resurfacing with an experienced sk:n doctor or dermatologist, such as , , or Erbium Yag.

Nose to Mouth Line Filler

12 June 2025 |

Abstract

, often referred to as nose to mouth lines, are among the most common signs of facial ageing. In this guide, we explore how dermal fillers can soften these folds by restoring volume loss and supporting the natural architecture of the face. Instead of focusing solely on the line itself, the article explains the importance of a holistic treatment approach, often involving surrounding areas like the cheeks and mid-face, to create a balanced and natural result.

You’ll find insights into the latest filler techniques used at , as well as practical guidance on longevity, safety, and recovery. The piece also examines who benefits most from treatment, what to consider if you’re new to fillers, and how combination therapies – such as skin tightening or biostimulatory injectables – can improve results for more advanced .

Whether you’re just beginning to notice smile lines or you’re seeking a more refined lower-face rejuvenation, this guide aims to clarify your . With expert-led advice and tailored treatment strategies, HRT Overview Omniya helps you feel more confident in your skin, without compromising on subtlety or safety.

Nose to Mouth Line Filler: When Might I Consider Them?

If you’ve started noticing folds running from the sides of your nose down to the of your mouth, you’re not alone. These lines, often to as or “nose to mouth lines,” are a common part of the ageing and tend to become more pronounced over time. At Omniya Clinic, we use techniques to soften the appearance of these lines, restore lost volume, and rejuvenate the lower face, all while maintaining your natural expression.

What Are Nose to Mouth Lines?

Nose to mouth lines () are the natural creases that form between the sides of the nose and the mouth. While they often appear when we smile or laugh, they can deepen and remain visible at rest as we age. This due to a of factors:

To better understand the formation and treatment of these folds, visit our page on .

Who Benefits Most from Nasolabial Fillers?

This treatment can benefit anyone with mild to moderate volume loss or facial lines. It’s often chosen by patients who:

Our approach is always tailored – there’s no standard dosage or placement. Everything is mapped out according to your individual facial anatomy, ageing pattern, and desired outcome.

The Importance of a Holistic Approach

At Omniya, we consider how different areas of the face work together. Nasolabial folds often result from volume loss higher up in the cheeks, which allows the skin to sag . Rather than just filling the line, we often lift the area indirectly by restoring mid-face support.

This multi-point strategy can improve facial contours without looking overdone. It’s also more efficient: when cheeks are supported, the folds naturally soften, requiring less filler in the lower face.

Filler Technique: More Than Just the Line

Precision is key. We don’t simply “fill the line”, we the fold’s depth, skin thickness, and nearby structural changes. Depending on what’s needed, your treatment may include:

For more detail on treatment methods, see .

Complementary Treatments to Consider

While dermal fillers are highly effective, we also offer additional that may work alongside or instead of fillers, depending on your skin condition. These include:

Sometimes, combining a small amount of filler with one of the above more natural and longer-lasting improvements.

How Long Will Results Last?

You can expect results to last anywhere from 9 to 18 months, depending on:

Your practitioner may recommend your second treatment within the first 6–12 months to maintain optimal results, especially for deeper folds that require more support.

More on this is covered in our .

What Makes Nasolabial Fillers Different from Other Filler Areas?

Treatment here is all about balance. Unlike the lips or jawline, which are often enhanced for shape, the goal with nose to mouth filler is restoration. We want to reduce harsh shadows or lines adding unnecessary volume.

The area also moves frequently – when you talk, eat, or smile – so the filler needs to be placed in a way that adapts to motion without distorting your expression.

Aftercare and Recovery Timeline

Following treatment, most patients can return to normal activity the same day. However, we suggest:

You might notice slight swelling or tenderness, but this is short-lived and resolves within a few days. If you’re prone to bruising, you may want to avoid blood-thinning supplements or before your appointment.

For full instructions, visit our .

How to Know If It’s Done Well (Or Not)

The best work is invisible. After treatment, your face should look refreshed, not altered. You’ll still smile and express naturally, but without the shadowing or harshness the fold once caused.

Poorly placed filler may create puffiness, unevenness, or unnatural contours near the mouth. At Omniya, our philosophy is less is more, and we prioritise gradual improvements over dramatic changes.

Why Choose Omniya Clinic for Nasolabial Fillers?

We understand the nuances of facial ageing. Our practitioners are highly experienced in working with patients of all ages, skin types, and goals. Every treatment is bespoke, based on consultation, clinical skill, and what suits you best.

We also value transparency. If we feel filler isn’t the best option, we’ll say so and offer alternatives. And if we do proceed, your results will always aim to enhance your natural beauty, never distract from it.

FAQs About Nose to Mouth Line Fillers

Yes, in many cases treating the cheeks helps to lift the lower face and soften the fold.

Not when done properly. We use precise techniques and premium products to avoid heaviness.

Early treatment often provides more natural-looking results and can prevent lines from deepening.

This depends on the individual, but often patients require between 1–2ml. Sometimes it’s best to build up over more than one session.

Minor side effects include swelling, bruising, or temporary tenderness. All treatments are carried out by experienced practitioners in a clinical setting.

Yes. We often filler with skin-tightening or skin-quality treatments for the best .

Minimal. Most people resume normal activities the same day. Slight swelling or bruising may occur, but it tends to settle quickly.

Get your moles checked and removed by leading dermatologists

If you don’t like the look of your mole, or there has been a change in the shape, size, colour and texture, we can check to see if biopsy is needed or we can remove it for you. you choose mole removal services for  reasons or otherwise, sk:n will always put excellent patient care at the heart of what we do.

What is a mole?

A common mole, or naevi, is a coloured spot on the skin that when pigment cells called melanocytes grow in clusters. Although common moles may be present at birth, they usually appear later in childhood and increase during teenage years – most adults usually have between 10 and 40 on their body. During pregnancy, moles often get darker and they can fade away completely from around the age of 50.

Cosmetic or benign mole removal

Should you want a benign mole, cyst or other lesion removed for cosmetic reasons, you can book treatment with one of the leading consultant dermatologists, surgeons and doctors at sk:n.

The consultant will check your mole to ensure biopsy is not necessary, discuss the recommended procedure and costs, recovery, likely outcomes, and any risks and complications.

If you decide to go ahead with the procedure, we will book you in as soon as possible. The consultation and procedure normally take around 30 minutes in total.

Cosmetic mole removal services are available nationwide at sk:n.

Methods of mole removal

Laser removal

Most suitable for small, raised moles in areas where minimal scarring is a priority, such as the face. Laser mole removal uses light energy to break down the melanin pigment within the mole.

Shave removal

Moles that protrude from the skin can be ‘shaved’ off under local anaesthetic. A surgical blade is used to remove the mole down to slightly beneath the surface of the skin leaving a pink indent that should fade with time.

Excision removal

Most suitable for larger moles where regrowth is a concern. Excision is under local anaesthetic and involves the surgical of the mole along with a small border of normal surrounding skin. This procedure requires a stitch to close the skin, leaving a small scar that will fade over time.

How to best look after your moles

Sun exposure is the main cause of skin cancers, so protecting your skin from the sun is for skin health. Experts advise to avoid direct sun exposure between 11am and 3pm on sunny days, and to wear protective clothing in addition to using regularly.

dermatologist at sk:n, , recommends using at least an with a UVB and UVA protection star rating of 4 or 5:

“Sunscreen should be applied 15 to 30 minutes before going outside and should be reapplied every two hours. Regular self-monitoring of your moles to look for any changes in colour, shape or size is also recommended. Warning signs for cancerous changes from existing or new moles/freckles can be easily remembered using the ABCDE rule outlined below:”

If you notice any of these changes, you should seek advice from a doctor. At sk:n we have experienced doctors that can help check your moles and give you peace of mind.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

You can have a mole removed from anywhere on your body, including on your face. Our doctors have years of experience in removing moles from the face and sensitive and hard-to-reach places.

Yes of course, it is possible. Unlike the NHS, who will only remove moles if they are dangerous, at sk:n, we are used to removing moles for cosmetic reasons, unless your consultant feels there is a medical reason not to.

You will need to see a consultant for a consultation and clinical review to discuss the removal. Sometimes a doctor may advise against procedures the risk of scarring outweighs the cosmetic benefit.

In the last few years, the NHS has reduced the type of “non-essential” treatments it delivers. This means that some procedures, such as mole removal, and warts, verrucae and skin tag removal, can no longer be (administered) offered for free on the NHS. A mole that is not believed to be at risk, dysplastic or malignant, (life-threatening or cancerous) will not generally be removed on the NHS.

Patients with insurance have their costs usually covered by their insurance policy in full, subject to policy conditions. We advise you to check with your provider prior to booking. For clients without health insurance, we offer a Pre-Procedure Consultation at £150.

At sk:n you are in the safest hands. Our leading consultant dermatologists, doctors, surgeons and nurses have extensive training, qualifications and experience. We are by the NHS, and receive more NHS referrals for mole removal than any other dermatology provider. During your and treatment, we will explain any possible side effects and how to avoid them.

There are several types of mole and each type has different treatment options. Melanocytic moles need to be excised and sent to the laboratory for histopathology. An excision of a mole involves injections with local anaesthetic: a sharp scratch and a burning sensation that lasts 1-20 seconds. Once the local anaesthetic starts working the patient will only feel pulling but no pain.

Intradermal nevi and compound nevi can be removed by excision, shave or laser. Excisions and shave removals require local anaesthetic, but laser treatment can be carried out with the of topical anaesthetic creams.

Laser removal is described as feeling like the flick of an elastic band. If you are booked in for shave or excision removal, the area will be numbed with a local anaesthetic so you won’t feel anything.

When moles are excised they will not recur.

If moles are removed by shave or laser There is a very small chance that your mole might reappear after having it removed, as a few mole cells may remain in the skin. If this is the case, we will book you in for further treatment. Usually, however, you will find that one treatment is enough.

The British Association of Dermatologists defines Atypical mole syndrome as “a disorder of the skin which is seen in approximately 2% of the population. It is defined when an individual has more than 50 moles composed of melanocytes (pigment producing skin cells) present on their skin, and three or more are atypical (unusual) in their appearance, e.g. size and shape.”

What Is the Best Treatment for Crepey Under Eye Skin?

What Is the Best Treatment for Crepey Under Eye Skin? Find out about it in our aesthetic clinic based in Esher, Surrey

Crepey under eye skin is a common concern seen at Revital Lab in Esher. Patients often feel that their eyes make them look tired, even when they feel well rested. Fine lines, thinning skin and a lack of elasticity can all contribute to that crepey texture, which makeup often struggles to conceal.

The key to treating this area effectively is understanding that it is not just about ageing on the surface. Crepey skin is a sign of deeper structural changes within the skin, particularly the loss of collagen and elastin. Because the under eye area is so delicate, the best results come from treatments that improve skin quality rather than simply adding volume.

At Revital Lab, we take a regenerative approach, focusing on treatments such as Sunekos for targeted under eye rejuvenation, with dermal filler and microneedling used as part of a wider, long term plan.

Why Crepey Under Eye Skin Needs a Different Approach

The skin under the eyes is up to four times thinner than the rest of the face. This means it is far more prone to dehydration, fine lines and laxity. Over time, collagen production slows down, and the skin loses its ability to bounce back.

Many people assume that filler is the answer, but this is not always the case. In fact, adding volume to already thin, crepey skin can sometimes make the area look heavier or swollen if not done correctly.

What this area really needs is support at a cellular level. Treatments that stimulate collagen and elastin, improve hydration and strengthen the skin barrier are far more effective in the long term.

The Revital Lab Approach to Under Eye Rejuvenation

At Revital Lab, we focus on restoring skin health first and enhancing structure only where needed. This ensures results look natural, not overdone.

For crepey under eye skin, this usually involves:

This combination allows us to treat the cause of the concern, not just the appearance of it.

Sunekos: The Leading Treatment for Crepey Under Eyes

Sunekos is widely one of the most effective treatments for improving crepey under eye skin.

It is not a traditional filler. Instead, it combines acid with a blend of amino acids to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This helps to rebuild the skin from within, improving both texture and elasticity.

For the under eye area, this is particularly important. Rather than adding volume, Sunekos works to:

Because it is and regenerative, it is ideal for this area. Results gradually, giving a subtle and natural improvement that continues over time. .

When Dermal Filler May Be Recommended

In some cases, crepey skin is made more noticeable by volume loss in the tear trough. This hollowing can create shadows and exaggerate the appearance of fine lines.

Dermal filler can be used to restore this lost volume and create a smoother transition the under eye and the cheek. However, it is not suitable for everyone.

At Revital Lab, filler is only used when necessary and always in a way. In many cases, treating the skin first with Sunekos leads to a better overall result, with filler used later if needed.

The goal is always balance, overfilling the under eye area can lead to puffiness, so a approach is essential. .

Microneedling for Long Term Skin Quality

Once the under eye area has been improved, maintaining the results is key.

Microneedling is an for ongoing skin health. It works by stimulating the body’s natural response, encouraging new collagen production and improving overall skin texture.

While it is not used directly in the same way as injectables for the under eye area, it supports the surrounding skin and helps to:

As part of a long term plan, microneedling helps to prolong and enhance the results achieved with treatments like Sunekos.

Why More Patients Are Choosing Regenerative Under Eye Treatments

There has been a noticeable shift in how patients under eye rejuvenation. Rather than for quick fixes, more people are choosing treatments that skin health over time.

Regenerative treatments such as Sunekos are becoming increasingly popular because they deliver natural looking results without changing the structure of the face. Patients want to look fresher, not different.

This approach is particularly important in the under eye area, where makes all the difference. By focusing on collagen stimulation and hydration, we can achieve results that are both effective and long .

What Results Can You Expect?

Results will vary depending on the individual, but most patients notice a gradual improvement in the texture and quality of their skin.

The under eye area appears smoother, less crepey and more hydrated. Fine lines soften, and the overall appearance is brighter and more refreshed.

Importantly, the results do not look artificial. The aim is always to enhance what is already there, rather than create something new.

Final Thoughts

So, what is the best treatment for crepey under eye skin?

For most patients, the answer is not a single treatment but a tailored combination. Sunekos remains the foundation, OmniClear – Congestion/Acne helping to regenerate and strengthen the skin. Dermal filler can be used where volume loss is present, and microneedling supports long term skin quality.

At Revital Lab in Esher, the focus is always on achieving natural, balanced results through a personalised approach. Treating crepey under eye skin effectively is about restoring skin health, and with the right plan, this is absolutely achievable. All treatments are carried out after a comprehensive consultation to determine the specific needs of each person, including medical history and concerns. If you are considering regenerative under eye treatment or have any questions you can
